“SMASH” is dead…but thank goodness “Nashville” was renewed. ABC unlike NBC was smart.
I arrive home, and i found out that “SMASH” has been officially cancelled. We slaved our butts and fingers in the “Save one show” competition, and NBC gives us…nothing?? If they dont at least relase “Bombshell” AND “Hitlist” i curse them to have to lame sitcoms and boring dramas for the eternity. Its what we deserve AT LEAST
What bothers me the most…is how incredible this show was: The songs were terrificly amazing. Leading ladies had the vest voices ever, each one in her own unique way…and the rest of the cast was breath taking as well. But none knew how to hadle it. Everyone tried to pull it in a different directions, so it started losing consistence, slowly sinking after each episode. Theresa Rebeck at least knew what she was doing…Safran tried to force his vision of characters already existed, which made them act off every now and then.
So the show itself had a superb potential, so screw you NBC. Goodbye Smash, you will be terribly missed.
Things happen, complain. Things don’t happen, complain. Karen breathes, complain. Hitlist, complain. Karen does nothing, complain. Whatever ship, complain. Come on…Just chill, and enjoy the show.
Where people were catty and selfish and everybody sang but NO ONE DIED.
There were no shootings or fires or earthquakes or plane crashes. No car accidents.
And then they killed Kyle.

As for “Don’t forget me” Megan Hilty Killed it!! But i really like Katharine’s version…both are good in their own way.

What does that means? That we all know its probably not going to make it, but there has not been an oficial announcement yet.
It would be sad to see it go, it was full of potetential, the cast is so talented…and the songs are just INCREDIBLE

Ahem, but seriously, if you like musical-y things you should totally watch this; smash is a total blast. The songs are just brilliant, Katherine McPhee and Megan Hilty know what they are doing. I was mindblown since the first ep.
